Program Pricing

Boulder Community Rowing's mission is to give a diverse group of athletes the opportunity to participate in the life-changing sport of rowing. For this reason, we offer flexible pricing options to meet rowers’ needs and schedules. Also, needs-based scholarships are available.

program fees description

Program fees apply to all coached programs and are how we pay our coaches. Any rower participating in a program must pay program fees, in addition to membership and equipment fees.

Rowers in the Development Team, Comp Squad, or Sculling Program can choose from the below payment options. For pricing for Learn to Row, Novice Program, and Collegiate Program, please visit their respective pages.

Some programs like Comp Squad and Development Team meet for three practices a week. Others, like Sculling, meet for two practices a week. Yet all programs cost the same. Here’s why: The programs that meet three times a week have many rowers and there is less individualized coaching; more group coaching. The programs that meet two times a week have smaller numbers of participants and coaches work one-on-one more with each rower.

monthly

$140/session

Typically each coached program session is one month long. Exceptions are the April/May Hybrid session and the Nov/Dec Holiday session. For each of those sessions, rowers get two months for $140.

coached programs punch card

BCR members who travel often or have inconsistent schedules may find our flexible Coached Programs Punch Card meets their needs.

$125 for 10 coached program practices

The Coached Programs Punch Card is for BCR members who have paid both Full Membership Fee and Equipment Use Fee.  The amount paid for the punch card covers the program fee for the coached program of the rower’s choice.

Coached Programs Punch Cards cannot be used for the Collegiate or Novice Programs as the prices for those programs are inclusive of prorated Membership and Equipment Fees. For Programs that limit the number of participants, such as Sculling, please talk to the coach to see if there is availability on the days you would like to participate. Other programs or clinics may exclude punch card use as well. Refer to a program’s specific page for details.

member programs pass

$200 for 10 coached program practices

The Member Programs Pass is for BCR members who have paid the Full Membership Fee but not the Equipment Use Fee.  Most often, this is because a rower owns his/her own boat. The amount paid for the Member Programs Pass covers the program fee for the coached program of the rower’s choice, as well as prorated Equipment Use Fee.

For Programs that limit the number of participants, such as Sculling, please talk to the coach to see if there is availability on the days you would like to participate. Other programs or clinics may exclude Member Program Pass use as well. Refer to a program’s specific page for details.

There is no limit on how many Member Programs Passes a BCR member can purchase per season.
