Indoor Rowing Program
Boulder Community Rowing’s winter Indoor Rowing Program is so much more than just erging in the off-season. Under Head Coach Veronika Platzer, the program emphasizes body mechanics, drive sequence, and building strength and speed. Without exception, rowers who participate in this program return to the water in the spring with improved rowing form and technique.
what to expect
Each Indoor Rowing session features a 60+ minute ergometer workout designed to improve a specific on-the-water skill. Exercise balls and other workout equipment are used at times.
Apr 2 - May 30
The April-May Hybrid session starts as Indoor Rowing and as soon as weather permits, we transition to rowing on the water. Super value! You get two months of practices (April and May) for the price of one ($140).
Days and Times
April 2 - 13:
ALL practices indoor at Mountains Edge Fitness
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays: 5:30-6:45 am
April 16 - May 30:
Our Head Coach will make a call the night before each practice whether we will be indoors or on the water.
If indoors, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays: 5:30- 6:45 am at Mountain’s Edge Fitness
If outdoors, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays: 5:00 - 6:45 am. Arrive at the gate to the Boulder Reservoir at 5:00 am to catch the window of when the Reservoir Gate is open.

Pay $140 to enroll for the April - May Hybrid session, or
BCR Members can use Punch Cards for this Program. Outdoor Punch Cards can be rolled over or a new Indoor Rowing Punch Card can be purchased.
Interested in trying this program out? Please join us! Pay a $20 cash drop-in fee directly to the coach when you arrive for practice. Both BCR Members and Non-Members are welcome to use this drop-in fee option.
